Mission Statement:

ARC is dedicated to promoting educational excellence and equity for underserved students of diverse backgrounds.

History/Goals/Objectives:

Recognizing the need for a concerted effort to improve the education of immigrant students, ARC was founded in 1977 to develop curriculum materials and conduct research of best practices for those students. Our scope of work has since broadened to serve all students and include our after school academic program, ARC Connections, school management and classroom instructional support, youth empowerment and the effective use of technology in the classroom.

Our programs are applicable for all students and include special adaptations for English language learners and students identified as in need of special education services.

Staff Capacity: Staffing is appropriate to the numbers of students to be served with a ratio of 1::4 for instruction.

ARC Connections employs credentialed staff who train and manage college students, para professionals, and and parents to tutor small groups of 1 adult to 4 students.

Language Capacity (other than English): We have the capacity to serve all language groups
