College Track
(Programs Offered in the Community)
Program Name: College Track
Program Description: College Track provides services to motivated low-income high school students who have the desire but lack the resources and support to attain higher education. Through four years of daily contact and communication, we get our students successfully through high school and into college, helping them realize their academic and personal potential. We provide the tools and opportunities We challenge these expectations by setting high standards. Our students must maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher to remain in our program. They attend tutoring hours each week, turn in monthly progress reports from their teachers, and take part in workshops and ACT/SAT preparation classes. College Track requires every student to participate in community service and extracurricular activities throughout their time with us. College Track offers college outreach opportunities for our high school students and provides support and guidance for our students in college.
