Program Name: Entrepreneurship and Employment Training Program (EETP)

 

Program Description: . The Entrepreneurship and Employment Training Program (EETP) is an experiential program offered 2-3 days per week to both in-school and out-of school youth focusing on entrepreneurial and employment readiness skills including running small businesses

Participants are expected to make travel arrangements. We do provide bus passes to youth for some events and programs

 

Schools where program is currently offered: Castlemont High School  Youth Empowerment School  Bret Harte Middle School 

 

Geographic Areas Served (current):

District 4 (East Oakland - Dimond, Laurel, Montclair, Joaquin Miller)

District 6 (East Oakland - Millsmont, Hillcrest, Leona Quarry)

District 7 (East Oakland - Coliseum)

 

Geographic Areas for Expanded Service:

We are willing to expand our services to any school that would like to offer our program

 

Capacity to Deliver Services: We provide at least one adult and 1-2 youth teachers for each class we teach

 

Days per week: 5              Hours per day: 2-3

Student/Instructor Ratio: 2:20

Total number students (per school site): 25

 

Contract Fee Schedule: Currently it costs approximately $30,000 to run each program with 20 youth participants

Instructor Cost/hour: 20/hr
