Program Name: Career Exploring

 

Program Description: This is a program that targets teens who are 14 years or older.  Youth are matched with individuals and organziations who will mentor the youth by helping them explore their career interests as well as help them develop leadership skills.

Program Locations: The program services are usually delivered on the site of the mentoring organization.  For example a medical career exploring club would met at the sponsoring hospital or heath service facility.

 

Geographic Areas Served:

Citywide

 

Program Schedule

Career exploring groups meet at a time and day that is convenient to the participants.  This could be afternoon, evening, or weekends

 

Wheelchair accessible: Yes

Transportation notes: Depends on the location of the meeting place for each career exporing group.

 

Costs: $7 per year

Eligibility requirement (if any): Must be at least 14 years old
