The program provides four eight-week sessions of intensive group workshops and individual family case managment to assist these troubled youth and their families. It is manditory for a parent or responsible adult to attend the program with the youth. Along with the workshops there is an aftercare program consisting of leadership training, peer assistance program, community ambassadors and parent support groups. PRC primary oblective is to assist troubled youth to receive the opportunity to change by recognizing that there are caring adults in their family and community who are willing to help., By re-establising primary family relationships, many of the troubled youth are able to remain in their family units, reducing the need for custodial and foster care placement.
