Program Name: SMART

 

Program Description: SMART (Science, Math and Relevant Technology) provides hands-on science and math activities for girls in elementary and middle school.  Students in this weekly after school program are encouraged to take risks, experiment and work in teams to discover how math and science relate to their everyday lives.

Capacity to Deliver Services: Typical SMART sites include one Group Leader and 1-2 volunteers.

Student/Instructor Ratio: 1 to 15

Total number students (per school site): 15

 

Contract Fee Schedule: SMART costs of $10,000 would serve 15 girls, twice weekly for the school year.
