Oakland After School Programs Job Fair – July 31, 2007

 

When should I arrive?

You should feel free to attend anytime between 10am and 2:30pm or 4pm to 7pm, whenever is convenient for your schedule. We recommend that you plan to spend at least 30 minutes at the Fair.

 

Where is the Fair being held?

The Fair will be held at the Cal State East Bay Downtown Conference Center - 1000 Broadway.  It is easily accessible by BART (12th St./City Center exit)

 

 

Is parking available?

There is no parking that is officially designated for the Job Fair. There is a parking lot beneath the center, though cars left after 7pm will be charged.  Additional parking lots are located near the Conference Center.

 

What should I bring?

We recommend you bring copies of your resume and dress in business casual attire.

 

Who will be attending?

As we have just determined the date and location of the fair, we are still busy recruiting employers.  Check back to this website to get an updated list of employers attending.  We will provide a packet of job postings to those job seekers attending the fair, so you will be able to see the list of jobs available.

Many of the employers have indicated the number and type of positions for which they are seeking workers. We recommend reviewing this list to find organizations that match your skills and interests.

 

Will food be provided?

No, food will not be provided as part of the Fair.
